Technotronic war ein Musikprojekt aus Brüssel, bestehend aus den Produzenten Jo Bogaert und Patrick de Meyer, das mit seinen von Hip House, New Beat und teils EBM beeinflussten Tracks Pump Up the Jam, This Beat is Technotronic und Get Up! seine größten Erfolge um 1990 feierte. Zu den beständigen Mitgliedern zählte überdies Ya Kid K, die größtenteils den Gesang übernahm und teilweise an der Produktion der Songs beteiligt war.
